Uphill or Downhill

Are You Lonely?

When we close our hearts, we feel lonely even in the midst of a crowd. Feeling lonely is like shutting our eyes in broad daylight and crying out, “It’s dark! Turn on the light!” If we just open our eyes, we will see that it is already light outside.
 
Likewise, if we just open our hearts, we won’t feel lonesome even when we are alone.
