The True Aim Of Buddhist Practice

Selection from a Dharma Q&A session at University of Michigan (Oct. 26, 2014)

March 24, 2021

Q: Considering your background, you just provided us with your road to ordination, becoming a monk. I have a question about what you understand the true aim of Buddhist practice to be. What truth does that path, realize for you? You really weren’t to be religious in the first place, and you are ordained now. And if that truth of Buddhist practice, the heart of it, is appropriate or attainable for common people.
