Greed

April 16, 2021
Greed

Greed is not just hoping for something too big and impossible.

“It is also greed wanting to have two contradictory things.”

Greed is when you want to achieve something without working for it.

If you want to be blessed, you must accumulate merits.

If you don’t want to be punished, you must avoid committing wrongs.

Greed arises when you commit a wrong, but don’t want to be punished for it.

We suffer when we desire something that doesn’t make sense.

If you live according to the principles of life, your life will be free, and you won’t suffer from greed.

Wisdom For You

Do you regret some of your past actions?

Regret is rooted in self-blame.
Regret is an emotion that arises when you don’t understand yourself.
It’s foolish to blame yourself and feel regret for what has already happened.
Instead, view it with a light heart and accept it was simply a mistake.
Vow that you won’t make that same mistake again and then move on.
