Everything has its place.

Myeongshimmun (Words to Remember)

Last summer, English language practitioners, including Chetan, Christopher, and Rob, gathered together at the Seattle Jungto Retreat Center.

Linda, Soonmi, Unyoung, and Shanghui, practitioners of Seattle Jungto Society, also joined.

They cleaned up the vegetable gardens and pathways around the Buddha Hall.

After work, they had tea together. Chetan made Indian Chai tea and Soonmi prepared some cookies.

The English language practitioners were happy to meet one another in person after practicing online for a while.

Offering Prayer (공양게송)

I eat this meal with gratitude,

thinking of all the people

who made it possible for me to have this food.

I take refuge in the Buddha.

I take refuge in the Dharma.

I take refuge in the Sangha.
