Ven. Pomnyun is the founder and guiding Zen Master of the Jungto Society. He is not only a Buddhist monk, but also a social activist who has led various movements such as an ecological awareness campaign, promoting human rights and world peace, and eradicating famine, disease, and illiteracy.
In this engaging conversation between Ven. Pomnyun and the audience, anyone can come forward and ask questions on various topics. The talk is almost entirely composed of questions from the audience and Sunim’s responses. While deeply rooted in Buddhist teachings, Ven. Pomnyun Sunim’s responses are in everyday language and easy to understand, which makes the talk welcoming and engaging.
